Treated as a white IPA, this was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a chill hazy yellow to woody orange color with a small cap of a head, foamy and sliding off delicately to try and leave some foamy rings.
The aroma had a wonderful sweet pine and sweet orange rind with a touch of zest then a light lemon scent scrapes along the bottom of it all.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side blending the pine to the orange and lemon. Mild aftertaste of lemon juice with orange and sweet pine.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a very nice sessionability about it. Carbonation felt right on par. ABV felt a bit under as projected. Mild finish of orange zest with lemon sweetness.
Overall, not really a style I reach for this time of year, but it was done very well and definitely would be a spectacular grab again during warmer weather.

Had poured from pint can, bottom stamped “BEST BY SEPT 2018,” into nonic pint.
This cross between a Belgian Witbier and a West Coast IPA approaches what—to me—a Belgian IPA should be. If it were just a tad spicier . . .
