For the beer itself, we wanted to create a recipe that was creative & unique to our portfolio and also geared toward the cycling. We chose ingredients that were undeniably refreshing: ginger & lemon. To amplify this thirst-quenching quality we chose a locally sourced yeast strain that produces lactic acid during fermentation adding a mild tartness to the finished beer. To soften that tartness and add a touch of electrolytes, we included a small addition of pink Himalayan sea salt. The name was inspired by the 1979 movie based in Bloomington, IN, one of our all time favorites.

Great summertime crusher! Light, crisp, refreshing. If it's 90 degrees out and you want something really light, this is it! I literally just rode my bike and popped this one and I had no idea it was geared toward cyclists. I think it's pretty great!

I gave it a 5 for the look, because I've never seen a beer this light.

16oz can stamped BATCH: 5151 BB: JAN 2020 poured into a tulip pint glass at fridge temp 4.5% ABV. The beer pours bright pale straw yellow with nearly white head. The head recedes to a pencil thin ring and a few bubbles. No lacing. The aroma is tart with a hint of the lemon and ginger mentioned in the label. The taste is very light pale malt with a bit of lactic funk and hints of ginger, lemon and salinity. No bitterness per se. The mouthfeel is thin bodied with average carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, as advertised. Not my style, but it was brewed as a post bicycling beer and seems well suited to that end.
