Bottle from Wishing Well. Happy to see Upland distributing around here.
Nothing startling.
Just a very good take on a Belgian tart golden ale. Hit all the buttons. Would not have thought non-Belgian in a “ blind” review. Delicious and nicely smooth; not over carbonated.
If anything the cost (almost $1/oz) does not support regular purchasing, and beer is not extraordinary enough to warrant special occasion purchasing. Have no problem understanding requirements that produced these costs. Just know these same requirements make it not affordable for me.
HST… this is a well crafted brew from people who clearly know how to do it right!

Poured from a 500 mL bottle into a tulip glass. Slightly hazy golden yellow color with good, effervescent initial head, little lacing. Smell and taste of slightly sour apples. Flavor of strawberry and and a bit woodsy. Decent sour.
