On tap at the Upland Pump House.
A - Dark brown pour with a dense layer of light caramel creamy foam floating on top.
S - Aroma is very light with delicate char and some slight yeasty presence along with some cocoa.
T - Estery banana flavor at the start and all the way through. Towards the end some chocolate malt pokes through. The ABV is well hidden.
M - Full body with some thinness around the edges.
O - I think the banana is "supposed" to be intentional in this beer (according to the vague beer board at their Columbus, IN location) but it comes across more as a fermentation off-flavor and flaw. Upland: What's the real truth behind this beer?
