BB okt. 2006. Nice head and a bronze brown beer that shows lots of haze. Nose is strange giving anis, nutty, sweet candy and litle phenolic hint next to the regular maltyness. Taste is also something else having lots of hazelnuts, a overal sweet carracter( Maple syrup?), some maltyness, litle musty and only litle bitterness in aftertaste. Good carbonisation makes mouthfeel good though the whole brew makes you more think that you drink fermented maple juice with hazelnut instead of a bock. Also missing the roasty part but altogether enjoyable brew that is well worth a try.
