From my notes: Had this beer around Christmas in my favorite pub the vlaamse reus.
Look: pours a yellow orange color with almost no head
Smell: Sweet fruit aroma, honey and hay and grains.
Taste: Sweet honey, maple with a hoppy taste. A bit barley wine like, only thinner and more fruit\y
Overall: an ok beer, but like the story behind it more than the beer itself

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a hazy light yellow color with a white head. The aroma is vegetables with some wheat mixed in. Not really sure what is going on in the aroma with the cooked vegetable notes, but I don't like it. The flavor is much better than the aroma, but it is still not too great. I get some wheat, coriander, grass and floral notes, along with a little fruit. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

A slightly hazy blonde, tending togreen. One finger of white foam.
In the smell malt, and you can fell the strongness, but not overwhelming.
In the mouth, after a quick feeling of warming alcohol, it is not heavy, despite the 9 ABV.
Candy sugar, fruit n syrup, maybe peach.
After all, relatively fresh and plesant, despite the alcohol.
Quite strange, but intriguing.

This beer has been brewed for the spent grains that are fed to the brewery's big pig. To help him through the winter, this beer is extra high in alcohol, so more malt is used and thus more spent grains are produced.

Appearance is yellow, orange and murky without any head.

Smell is malty with some husky and hay smells. There is a slight honey-like smell.

Taste is sweet and heavy with some honey taste. The beer is slightly bitter and somewhat hoppy . Body is pretty full and there is little carbonation, which make the beer unbalanced. I appears that this is an all-malt beer with only pilsmalt. There is no great depth or lots of flavor to the beer.
