Dark brown colour and a lot of fluffy foam. Smell has malt and wood, but not much else. The wood is not very manifest in the taste however. Malt, chocolate, caramel and a hint of hop. Intense and balanced eisbock, but could use a bit more complexity. There is no real taste development here. Mouth feel is smooth and oily, like it should be.
