Got this at Bert's Bier Huis in Utrecht, Netherlands.
From a bottle into a snifter.
APPEARANCE: Black with quite a bit of carbonation evident. Big, fluffy, bubbly, bumpy off-white head. Head has a lot of bubbles and looks light and thin. Bubbly thin film sticks around. Minimal bubbly lacing.
SMELL: Strong malt smell. Some dark fruits and a slight raisin tinge.
TASTE: Malt, dark fruits and some raisin again. Tastes like it smells. A slight aftertaste, but generally neutral and kind of boring.
PALATE: A little watery. Smooth and relatively dry, but too thin on the palate for this style. The carbonation is all over the place as well. Not something worth remembering.
OVERALL: This was wrong. The nose and taste were not bad, meaning I could finish it, but that's it. It was drinkable, but not enjoyable. It made no statement, and the look and feel was all wrong for a porter. Not something I'll ever want to try again.

Sampled at Pint festival. Good nose with good hops in it and a sweet carramellic maltyness and only litle roast. Dry hopped Goldings and litle spicy. Taste is much dryer then nose suspects and has good maltyness and thickness. Together with the quiet bitter aftertaste and good drinkability you get a fine tasting brew.
