I was able to get a 0.5l bottle of this during a little street Fest in the city of Kelheim. This brewery, like Riedenburger, touts their use of organic ingredients.
This Hefe is a cloudy, deep golden color; perhaps like apricot color. Topping is a creamy, fine and tight, off-white head of 1' plus, with nice lacing. Mild nose is present, with more banana than clove, though sufficient of both. It is a medium bodied bier, smooth and creamy, especially for the style.
Wheaty and crisp, Michaeli has light clove, then more banana and esters. Goes down smooth, with nary a bite to be found in the dry finsih. Very quaffable, especially on a sunny, 80F day like the one on which it was downed. And #850 is in the books....
Prosit!!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
