Tasted by a half pint with non-sparkler-pour, at the John Russell Fox, a JDW pub in Andover, Hants.
A: clear amber, sparse white foamy head sits on top of low carbonation.
S: orangey citrus, honey-ish malts, floral notes... all elements are well intertwined and compact, very light as well.
T: richly nutty & lightly spicy in the mixture, plenty of grassy hops and bitter-sweet malts to follow, rather chewy in a sense, then leading towards a profound but moderately bitter finish alongside mildly tart citrusness.
M&D: quite fresh is this half pint, though certainly not at its prifme judging by the "quiet"-ish mouthfeel and body... Overall a balanced bitter, with a malt backbone carrying the bittering hops through that in turn lends a good depth to this little drink from West Yorkshire~~
