Part of the 2011 Wetherspoons Autumn Beer Festival list: reviewed in Bewdley.
Hand pulled pint into a UK sleeve: copper body, clear but not bright, thin white head with no lacing produced.
The smell was mostly of biscuity malts, digestive at first, then as the beer warmed a little the aromas became sweeter and caramel along with hints of toffee appeared.
The taste was also on the sweetish malty side, with a wooden dryness at the end of each sip.
Not wishy washy, but no real body depth, a beer which I'd pass on next time.
