Very fruity - stewed dark fruits, hints of bitter burnt malt.

Dark nigght is named in memory of the Mexico Shipping Disaster in1886,
which led to the founding of the RNLI.
Dark body with brownish red hues giving it a cola like body with unusually for DM quite a whitish head taht is spotty & thin but sticks.
Big wheaty & semolina aromas.
Big malt tastes with yeasty spikes (prob due to the conditioning) slight hints of blackberry that is there but so hard to track down.
The mouthfeel is spot on, slightly watery to make it so thirst quenching and so drinkable.
It is an alright beer but it just reminds that as good as it gets in bottle
to be a truly great mild it needs to be cask
and served like that I bet this beer goes well into 4 mark territory.
