This Munich Dunkel is exceptionally smooth, dark and refreshes like a true Lager should! It has a rich and smooth Palate with a lingering slightly sweet aftertaste.

This was a Christmas gift in 2023, finally drunk in July 2024.
L: Nearly opaque, deep burgundy/amber, with a frothy, off-white head. I can't see any carbonation through the darkness.
S: Toffee, raspberry, brown bread.
T: The taste is rich toffee, with a slight toasty note and some cola and brown malts. The finish is long, tangy and sweet. There is a surprising touch of warmth on the swallow, which settles nicely in the stomach. This is very moreish like a good Dunkel should be.
M: The carbonation is medium, and the body is smooth and full.
O: A very nice Munich Dunkel. This one could easily accompany multiple Mass Krugs.
Cheers!
