33cl into a tulip. Pours a clear deep orange tinged garnet, minor dense head receded to a surface cap that was long lasting, decent lacing.

Pleasant aroma is light and spicy, clean fresh ginger.

Taste lacks complexity. Initial flavor is nearly non existent. Mid way it shows promise but doesn't develop. Zero bitter zero dry. Slight hint of metal in the aftertaste which is short lived. Thin bodied creamy mouthfeel. Does not improve with warmth.

A dark brown beer with a thin, but creamy head and lots of floating yeast bits in there. The beer came gushing out of the bottle when I opened the beer.

Smell is greasy and uninviting, traces of husk, grass and hay give the beer a very unfresh smell. Also some oxidation.

Taste is astringent and comes from too much flushing and at the wrong pH, at least it tastes like that to me. Again the hay and oxidation that is also a little band aid. A definate pour-out for me, just like the Aubel blond.

Rust-orange beer pours with a one-inch off-white head.

Nose is very malty, not much else here I can find.

Taste is a bit sour/vinous, reminds me of a slightly sour white wine, otherwise it fades into a bready and slightly malty finish.

I am not impressed by any complexity in this beer, but it is drinkable.
