Originally had this in 2014. Gave us a 4.0.
2022 version on tap. White head with some lace. Golden color. Clear.
Dry, almost like a steam beer. Floral, grassy hops. Baked bread and toast malts. Something just doesnt work with this beer. I want to like it, and it’s very unique, but I’m not a fan.

Serving glass: Poured from tap into pint glass.
Appearance: Barely hazy goldish color (can't see the color clearly) with decent white head.
Smell: Strong German hop presence, with strong spicy notes, some floral and herb notes, and even light citrus.
Taste: Grainy malt backbone, but the German hops shine here. I am getting straw, hay, herbs, and citrus. Lightly bitter but highly spicy on the finish. Also, tastes like a Wet Hop beer, but the hops are just barely disconcerting over the traditional Pale Ale malts.
Feel: Medium body, moderate carbonation, dry finish.
Overall: Unique Pale Ale, with some exceedingly fresh German hops.
