Beige head. Color is a cooper hued orange.

Flavor profile: Very bock-like. Caramel and bready malts. Maybe oktoberfest/bock hybrid. Earthy, grassy hops. A bit of spicy hops as well.

Mouthfeel: Clean. Smooth. Medium bodied.

Overall, an enjoyable beer. Reminded me of a nice bock.

Town Hall Autumn Blaze. Described to me as like an ale version of an oktoberfest. Similar to Capital Brewing's Autumnal Fire? Or, something else? Nothing a ton of other info available right now, so, let's jump into it.

Clear, bright and burning crimson, hue, small to no head on top.

Aroma: rich, dark malts, some, small sweetness. Oktoberfest meets doppelbock, with more of the hearty fruity notes of an ale.

Taste: Rich fruity flavors rise to the top. Cherry jumps out hardest? Apple and berry, a little bit oaky, a touch of tobacco. Something like that. Even it's not accurate, there's plenty of complexity. This is ever so tasty. About medium-bodied, delicious fruit/malty finish. Mmmm, mmm, good.

On tap at the brewpub. Served in a standard shaker glass.

Appearance: Color is a deep brownish amber orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. About one finger of off white head which fades into a thin patchy layer.

Smell: A nicely toasty and sweet malt driven aroma with hints of chocolate and citrus. Upfront toasted malts with hints of biscuit, grains, chocolate, caramel, toffee, toasted bread, nuts, and yeast. Sweet hints of brown sugar and cream. Citrus hops with hints of orange and lemon zest. Slight hints of fall cinnamon spice. A pretty nice toasty aroma.

Taste: Like the aroma hints, a toasty, sweet, and creamy malt forward taste with notes of chocolate, caramel, and citrus. Bready toasted malts with upfront notes of biscuit, chocolate, cream, caramel, toffee, grains, toasted bread, yeast, and nuts. Sweet taste of brown sugar. Light note of cinnamon spicing. Citrus hop presence with notes of orange and lemon zest. A pretty solid malty taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Nicely creamy and smooth with a fairly dry finish.

Overall: A pretty solid brew. Not sure of the exact style it is but its like a toasty brown ale with an extra kick of citrus.
