Lightly hazy, bright golden coloring, big white head, leaving lace.
Aroma: Beautiful hoppiness, distinctly citrus, floral, and piney. Lovely stuff.
Taste: Bold and dazzling hop attack hits first. Lean bodied, light and smooth. I assume there's some wheat in here, but it's not terribly prominent. If this is a White IPA, it's not like others I've tried. Lighter on the wheat, or the wit, lacking the spice and orange found in a witbier, more hoppy than anything else. Not as hazy, hardly white.
Okay, I'm feeling it now. It's nothing but supple, it's everything smooth. All about the hops, and then some. Love this one. Good drinker, and while it's nothing like various beers that have called themselves "white IPA" whatever the hell that is, it's terrific.

64 oz. growler bought from the brewpub with a date of September 18, 2014. Poured into a Town Hall Chalice glass.
Appearance: Pours a bright and clear golden orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. About two fingers of white head that slowly settle into a thinner layer.
Smell: A juicy and spicy hop forward aroma with hints of citrus, pine, and yeast. Belgian yeast with hints of clove, pepper, and slight coriander. Big presence of hops with citrus hints of grapefruit, orange peel, lemon, mango, pineapple, apricot, and melon. Earthy and herbal hops with some hints of pine. Bready hints of wheat and pale malt with some straw, grains, cracker, and caramel. A pretty good hoppy aroma.
Taste: Like it smells, a bright and juicy hop driven taste with big notes of citrus, pine, and yeast. Belgian yeast with some notes of clove, pepper, funk, and coriander. Big juicy presence of citrus hops with notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange rind, mango, apricot, melon, and pineapple. Also some earthy and herbal hops with notes of pine. Soft bready presence of wheat and pale malt with notes of grains, straw, caramel, and cracker. A very good juicy taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy, oily, and pretty drying on the finish.
Overall: A pretty solid Belgian/White IPA. Good juicy West Coast style hop presence with some spicy yeast notes.
