On tap at the brewpub. Served in a Town Hall Chalice glass.
Appearance: Color is a bright copper golden orange. Moderate amount of bubbles and a solid two fingers of white head with decent retention. Leaves a lot of good lacing.
Smell: A very juicy and earthy hop forward aroma with a good scent of citrus fruits and pine. Big upfront scent of fresh citra hops with hints of grapefruit, orange peel, mango, passion fruit, pineapple, and apricot. Floral and earthy hop hints with some pine resin and grass. Backing hints of soft malt with hints of cracker, yeast , and grains. A very good hoppy aroma.
Taste: Like the aroma hints at, a very juicy and earthy hop driven taste with a big presence of citrus fruit and pine. Upfront citra hops with juicy notes of orange peel, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, and apricot. Dank and earthy notes of pine resin along with some floral and grassy notes. Background notes of pale malt with notes of caramel, cracker, grains, and yeast. A very nice taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Very juicy and fairly bitter and oily. Finishes dry and smooth.
Overall: Another good version of Town Hall’s Fresh Hop ale. Good mix of juicy citrus and earthy notes with a nicely smooth feel considering the heavy hopping.

Very juicy ipa. You can definitely tell this is a fresh hop beer. Floral, citrusy, earthy. Grapefruit and Orange peel. Light bready malts. Hop resiny.
