Hoppy red ale. Bright and citrusy. Floral hops. Sticky and resiny. Grapefruit and pine.
Perfect carbonation level. A nice bitterness. Well done.

On tap at the brewpub. Served in a standard shaker glass.
Appearance: Color is a deep amber red. Moderate amount of bubbles and a solid finger of off white head that slowly settles into a thin creamy layer. Leaves a lot of good lacing.
Smell: A ripe, juicy, and spicy hop forward aroma with good hints of citrus fruit, pine, and caramel malt. Citrus hops with good hints of grapefruit, orange peel, lemon, and tangerine. Big hints of spicy and dank pine resin. Floral and earthy hop hints with some grass. Solid malt backing with hints of caramel, biscuit, yeast, and slight roast. A very solid aroma.
Taste: Like the smell indicates, a juicy, spicy, and oily hop forward taste with good notes of pine, citrus, and caramel. Solid citrus hop presence with notes of grapefruit, orange peel, lemon, and tangerine. Earthy and floral hops with a big taste of spicy pine resin and grassy hops. Background malt presence with notes of caramel, toffee, biscuit, toast, and yeast. A very good ripe taste.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy, spicy, and very oily with a drying finish.
Overall: A very good hopped up Red ale. Big mix of earthy and citrus hop notes.
