At the TH Tap, into an imperial pint
A: Pale copper, 1 finger head
S: Very nice...the Simcoe really jumps out here, with its passion fruit sweetness balanced by some woodsy mint and nettles.
T: Pale biscuity malts, hops follow the nose on the back. Not terribly complex, but really tasty.
M: Medium carbonation, smooth, no bite but still lively. Somewhat dry

Overall: Quite nice. Though the hop profiles differ, I find most of TH's pales -- like West Bank and Marmalade Sky -- leave me with a similar impression: very sessionable, tasty, all good. There must be a consistent yeast strain used across many different TH beers -- I get a similar taste profile from almost all of their pales and IPAs.

Simcoe this year. A well done simcoe forward APA. Lots of piney, resiny hop qualities on top of a well rounded brew.

I talked to the bartender and each year the grog is a different pale ale. So, I added a new vintage.

White head with lace.

Dank resiny pale. Sticky and juicy. A bit of citrus. Bitter and earthy. Very hop forward. Little malts showing. Well done as always.
