Clear, deep ruby-red/auburn tone. 1 finger bubbly, but dense, crown of light brown head. Retention is very good. Lace is clingy and abundant. The mouthfeel is velvety and smooth. Body checks in around medium-full. Flavors of milk chocolate, roasted malt, dry cocoa powder and a dash of PAC NW hops provide an enjoyable flavor experience. A nice chalky characteristic. And a slight lingering bitterness (of roasted malt and hops) gives this beer a little bit of a snap on the finish. Very easy drinking and enjoyable.

Dark, cavernous brown color, nearly black, with a generous, light tan, throughly creamy head.
Aroma is soft and sweet, with bittersweet espresso tones, vanilla, cocoa.
Great, big bite upfront, terrifically texture, with a heavy mouthfeel, but very smooth going down. Vast maltiness is at play, flavor is indefatigible, with rewarding tastes of chocolate and cream. Fine finish, never quits the mouth. Drinkability remains on par with most Town Hall efforts, strong to invincible. The pint I had at the pub went down so well, and I don't believe this growler will spend much time in the fridge.

This was once known as "Charlie Brown Porter" and it appears that the familiarity with the Round-Headed Kid has been cut off, and this batch is being referred to as "See Ya Later Porter" as a send-off gesture to assistant brewer, Josh.
