Town Hall Midnight Breakfast. What's in this beer? Not sure. Guess I have to open it up and find out.
Appearance: dark brown coloration, creamy-toned tanned head atop, looking great.
Aroma: ah! that's the stuff. creamy-smooth oat malt, low hops, sweet but balanced. Just right.
Taste: On the palate, more of the same. Low bitterness, smooth and creamy oat malt flavors, with some light chocolate and a touch of toffee. Velvety smooth.

"Oatmeal porter" on tap at the brewpub.
Dark, near black body with a decent head.
Aroma: Dark roasted grains with plenty of coffee (but apparently no actual coffee in this brew).
Flavor: Medium and (mainly) dark roasted malts with faint spicy hops. Very slightly bitter, overall.
Medium body with light carbonation.
O: very good for style.

On tap at the brewpub. Served in a standard shaker glass.
Appearance: Color is a dark blackish brown. Moderate amount of bubbles and a good finger of beige head which settles into a thin creamy layer.
Smell: A roasty and somewhat sweet dark malt forward aroma with hints of chocolate and coffee. Dark roasted barley malt with hints of dark chocolate, coffee, toast, biscuit, smoke, oats, caramel, and yeast. Sweet hints of brown sugar and vanilla. Hops are pretty subtle. A pretty nice aroma.
Taste: Like the smell previews, a roasty and sweet dark malt driven taste with notes of chocolate and coffee. Dark roasted barley malt with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, smoke, oats, biscuit, toast, caramel, and yeast. Sweet taste of brown sugar along with a little vanilla. Moderate bitterness. A pretty solid taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Creamy, silky, and pretty smooth.
Overall: A solid take on a lighter Stout/Porter. Good roasty and smokey malt notes with a smooth creamy body.

Coffee and chocolate. Roasted malts. Vanilla. Bitterness. Sweet. Caramel. Decent, but I prefer breakfast stout.
