Town Hall Wakatu Pale Ale, featuring the New Zealand hop Wakatu, 5.1% ABV.
Clear, bright amber coloring, slim white head.
Citrus explosion in the nose, big with the lemon and orange and a twist of grapefruit. Pineapple and lime, too. Big time fresh fruit. Love it.
In the mouth: more, more, more. Lean-bodied, refreshing bitterness, lots of hops, with a modicum of malt. Just delightful.Another delicious Town Hall pale ale, one that leaves me saying (and I'm not ashamed to tell it) "Wakatu me."

On cask. This beer arrives a clear onarge-bronze color. Te head is a firm ca that refuses to go away. The aroma is of passion fruit, mango, manderine orange, and a hint of pine in the background. The taste is lighter than the aroma, but still as complex and interesting. It is fruity with all srts of citrus and, like the aroma, a hint of pine in the finish. The mouthfeel is the usual cask fel of wonderness. Full, creamy, chewy, light fine carbonation. Overall, this is a very fine pale ale that I find myself enjoying thoroughly.
