On-Tap @ the source on the night of release! $1 pints from 5-6pm. Wahoo! Anyways, dark whaty golden, slightly cloudy and thick with a nice thick frapped head of pure white foam. Nice head retention and lacing as well. Aromas are all classic American what ale with some nice hop additions as well. Reminiscent of SN's Wheat beer but with more complexity, and better balance. Taste is all about da' wheat with some nice hops as mentioned before. The bready malts don't really stand out but provide a nice backbone for this all out wheat fest. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and drinkability is very good. Not the most complex ale out there but quite a nice offering from Town Hall. Good stuff.

Very hazy yellow-orange tone. Nice layer of bone white head. Lace is moderate in quantity. Nice aroma of fresh yeast, lemon zest and slight pepper. The taste is very clean. Could be due the fact that a lager yeast was employed in this wheat beer making it a "lager/wheat" cross. And it works. I like the way the clean lager yeast properties blend with the lemony, citric, tangy tones of the wheat. Very refreshing and quite flavorful. Nice amount of carbonation and about medium bodied. Maybe even a bit higher. This is a nice, creative piece of work. Summer always brings a plethora of wheat beers from the Town Hall to quench the thirst. One of the main reasons I look forward to summer...

Glowing gold-orange color, looks quite nice in the glass. Smell is relatively underpowered, with ajust a hint of banana and malt making itself known. Taste is also subdued, there is a nice wheat presence, leaving subtle banana flavors. This is good, but not great, I was hoping for something better than just "good".

Thoroughly hazed pale orange coloration, solid creamy white head, sits a spell in this pint glass...sets the tone well...
Aroma: orange and lemon, light spices, full fruit, some peach and apricot, maybe, very friendly and sweet, some hops and juicy malt, too...
Taste: big, brisk invasion on the palate, quickly fading, but never truly flagging in flavor. Nice yeast, medium-bodied, amiable and likable, and, again, abundant with tasty fruit. Ideal for summertime consumption...the 4th wheat beer of the season this year at Town Hall, and perhaps my favorite? Refreshing, but not merely a thirst quencher, this one rewards with abundant taste...nice hops, nice malt, very delicious, a real winner, once more.
Just have to hope it lasts more than a week or so!
