Smells of total Simcoe glory. But the flavor is dry, astringent, and finishes a bit catty. Not a big fan of SMASH beers and this is another example of why the aroma is excellent, the flavor is always lacking.

This one is murky. Looks almost as murky as some of the NE IPAs I've had, though I don't think this was meant to be a NE IPA since they describe it as an unfiltered pale ale. Orange/copper body with a thin off white head that doesn't leave a lot of lace. Outstanding aroma. Bright, citric, tropical...grapefruit, pineapple, oranges....great melange. Flavor is more of the same....lemon citrus and orange, grapefruit all backed by a nice biscuity malt backbone that doesn't get in the way. Mouthfeel is medium to medium-full with carbonation on the lighter side. Nice little bit of lingering bitterness perceived....some pine needle and sap on the finish. Another gem of a beer from Town Hall.

this looks like pond water. in jackson turbidity units, it's a lot. they said "it looks like juice" but i don't know what was squeezed here.
thankfully, it smells way better than anything i was thinking above. lots of apricot aroma here - not the unsulfured kind but the fat, moist ones. pine at the back end.
flavor loses a lot of that early fruit and goes to pine with a bitter aftertaste.
mouth is a little oily. bitterness lingers.
not my favorite.

Thick hazy orange juice look with a piney and grapefruit scent and flavor and a much thicker mouthfeel than expected.

At the tap, on tap into an ipa glass, pours a cloudy pale orange with a good white head of tight bubbles and good retention and decent lacing. Nose is citrus peel, not quite ripe orange and grapefruit, some juicy pineapple, and a little piney bitterness. Malt seems fairly neutral...maybe a little caramel but not much, and maybe a little cracker. The taste pretty much follows what the nose suggests, but the piney bitterness comes on stronger mid-way through the finish...and there's a little asprin at the end, too. This is pretty bitter, and I appreciate that. The body is a bit thin, and the mouthful isn't as soft as I was hoping. Still...very enjoyable pint, especially if you like bitter!

White head. Hazy sunset orange. Looks north east.
Orange juice. Tropical. Fruity. Earthy. A bit bitter so not as drinkable as the NE ipas.
Medium bodied. Some bitterness. Ends a bit sticky.
Reminds me of NE meets west coast hops.
I like it, but I wish it was a bit softer.

Pours a cloudy golden/yellow color, with a small staying white head , and streaks of lacing looks great. Smell is fruity with citrus & pine hops secondary tropical(slight) hops and bready caramel malts. Taste is more pine resin than tropical , notes of citrus mix with some tropical hops and finish with a bitter pine hit. mouth feel is lower carbonation, and slightly bitter, finishes dry. This is a hoppy W/C style IPA that happens to be super cloudy, it reminds me of Todd the axe man, good stuff.
