Look: mahogany, small head as is common with BA beers. Aroma: well balanced, dark fruits, plums, dates, caramel, quite a bit of oak, but it refrains from being too much. All quite nice. Taste: more baalance, and I loved balance. Oak come first with caramel, hints of chocolate, some prunes and plums, and very well integrated alcohol. You feel it there, but it adds to the beer instead of detracting as is usually the case. Finish: sweet, oaky and long. Mouthfeel: full bodied, and velvety with low carbonation. Comments: this beer has grown on me as 2018 BA Week at Town Hall has progressed. It's balanced in all aspects with many subtlies. The only complaint, and my initial hang up, is its softness. Perhaps, that is its greatest character.

Khaki head. Copper color.
Really great barre flavor. Vanilla, coconut, toffee, caramel, and bourbon. Oaky with some dark dried fruits. Plums and molasses. Thick for a Bw. Smooth and warming.
This is a stunning BABW. Very happy they made this.
