Clear, bold gold coloration, slim whitish head.
In the nose: Sharp, sweet, strong. Honey meets wine this time. Brash expressions.
In the mouth: More sweet, more sharp, more big and boozy. Complexities abound in this. Red wine tannins bump against buzzing honey sweetness, a tasty tug of war. Mead-like, wine-ish, and boom, boom, boom, boom. The remainder of the glass unfinished at the table went with my to the nightstand, as companion into my surrender to slumber.

750ml growler. Fill date is '2.20.18'. Also offered in 2019, during Barrel Aged Week (listed 9.7%ABV).
Clear, pale amber colored body. Brief fizzy head, No lacing.
Aroma is white grape and oak barrel.
Taste is a mix of white and red grape, with the latter part of the profile expressing dry oak. Has some honey sweetness.
Medium mouth feel. Because of time in the glass, the carbonation is very subdued.
I opine that the beer would have been more expressive and carbonated if experienced closer to the fill date. Still, the beer has very good grape flavors, and the honey finishing note is tasty. The barrel aging adds in a mellow oak barrel. Not really boozy, but there is the slightest bit of tongue sting with each sip (likely a plus 9%ABV).

On tap.
Little white head. Clear golden color.
A lot of honey and red wine here. Big oak flavor. Vinous and white grape tannins. Sweet, but dry.
Really nice offering. Very fun to try.
