On tap.
Slightly cloudy golden orange color. White head with lace. I like that this is a bit more of a German wheat than Hefeweizen. It just hit a bit different even though it’s basically the same thing. Not as spiced and bubblegummy. Smooth, crisp, a bit citrusy, and nice wheat notes.

At the tap, into a slick angular 20 year anniversary weizen glass. Slightly cloudy dull autumnal gold with minimal head and no lacing. Nose is dominated by cloves and some other spice (cinnamon?) with banana playing support...pretty one-note, but I like a little spice, so okay by me. Taste follows fairly closely, with the clove really coming on strongest in the back end. Again, kind of one note, but it’s a good note. Feel lacks a little liveliness...otherwise, just middling. All in all, a good one, especially if you like your hefe on the spicy side.

Look: cloudy, orange-copper, smallish head. Aroma: banana, light clove, some weird dark fruits that I can't quite put my finger on. Taste: banana, and not much else. Finish: quick and clean. Feel: medium bodied, mildly chewy, ample carbonation. Commeents: are quite hefe, but the weird fruit thing in the aroma throws it off a bit.
