This beer is pretty clear. Light copper. Medium sized off white head. Lots of lace. The nose ushers in some bright floral aromatics. And a little sweet caramel. Very nice aroma for an APA. Great hoppy flavor hits the palate first. Hop flavor is real nice, but not overbearing. Bright and citric and floral and a little grassy. A nice little bitterness lingers. Malts provide a decent enough foundation. Crisp feel in the mouth. Medium bodied. Snappy hoppiness leaves you thirsting for more. Very drinkable and quite the session ale. Give me a blind tasting of this vs Summit EPA and SN Pale Ale and I'd wager a bet that I'd choose this. Good stuff.

Solid offering. Medium gold color topped by an off-white head. A touch of hops in the aroma, but nothing much really there. Flavor had a good bit of bitterness, then a bit of malt following up behind it. Mouthfeel was very solid and rather smooth. Drinkability was also very good. A nice session-type beer that will probably appeal to a wide range of people.

Crafted to suit the request of those desiring a lighter, less hoppy, sessionable pale ale (don't look at me), and given an unimaginative name to honor the opening of baseball season and the brewery's proximity to the Metrodome, "Ballpark Beer" is actually a pretty solid brew, if not too exciting.
American pale malt, light caramel and wheat fills the malt bill, and the hops are Cascade, Columbus, and Fuggle.

Clear, pale apricot appearance, big, bone white head.

Lovely aromatics, plump with those delightful PAcNW hops, good citrus, pithy and piney, some flowery, honeyed notes, as well. Bright and beautiful.

Good bitter bite up front, great blast on the tongue, then all is mellow. Sip again, and it starts anew. Juicy malt, smoothness incarnate, lightish body, swift, hoppy finish. Terrific balance.

Fresh, vibrant, and definitely sessionable. It's been awhile since the MTHB has done a regular pale ale, and their ingenuity has paid off in this one. Though I often hunger for hops and thought this would have me wanting, it turns out not to be the case. Delicious!
