Not much for a head, just a thin ring around the glass. The body is a deep orange color, very hazy - pretty much opaque. There is a lighter orange color toward the bottom of the glass, a slight gradient down to it.
The smell was kind of weird, not much too it. Sort of yeasty, but with a definite jalapeno style pepper to it. Kind of bready too. The taste is sort of hot and spicy behind the malty sweetness and the bread-like quality. Not much, but a very little amount of hops come through in between it all.
I didn't notice any carbonation really, medium body. This was good, but sort of burning in the aftertaste. I wouldn't suggest more than one of these, but definitely something to try a couple times.
