What's this in my wallet printed on the back of a to-do list? Why it's a beer review! What else would it be?
This beer appears brown at a glance but when held to the light a bright cranberry sneaks through. As beautiful as this one is, there's little or no head.
Smells of creamed corn and Wheaties that leans more towards the sweet side picking up a rough molasses, honey and a touch of marshmallow. There's a lot of fruit to this one with green grapes, Pomegranate and pear. There's a touch of dry but creamy coffee in the background adding a little balance.
Tastes just as sweet with caramel, Tootsie Rolls, Peeps and milk chocolate. This fortunately fades to a dry coffee (extra cream) in the finish. The creamy sweetness is quite enjoyable.
Feels playfully like frothed milk foam but also quite clean and dry.
This one's quite original, I must say. Haven't met its equal before. Because of its uniqueness, I really enjoyed it, but I don't think a few of these in succession would be enjoyable at all.

An interesting beer to say the least. In a sentence, this beer is like Belgian chocolate mettled lovingly on a graham cracker. There's a candy sweetness to this beer along with the dark grains that make up the that cracker taste. I can't say I'm in love with this beer, but I'm glad I tried it. Thanks to Town Hall for making something tasty and different.

Festivus 2007, from a growler, ...
Solid black, with a rich, thick roasted tan head...looks absolutely perfect.
Aroma: soft, and sure, rich chocolate flavor, fine cocoa, a little peanut butter...sweetness, for sure...Beautiful.
Taste: more of the same. chocolate on chocolate. middling mouthfeel. medium to full. Now, it's more than middling. and that chocolate is huge, actually, rather full Begian cocoa feeling. If that trips your trigger, no way you won't like this.
It helps if you like peanut butter, too...
