On tap at Town Hall in August 2009.
Pours a slightly hazy golden blonde with a nice white head. The smell is that of citrus, mild coriander, orange, and a little bit of zesty spices. The taste is quite the same with a creamy body on a medium-light beer. Very drinkable and one that would be nice to have around during the warmer months, or any other time for that matter.

Lucky enough to have a friend fly me some down here. Very representative of the style. Big thick mouth feel. Taste is a little thin, but not enough to hurt the overall experience. Golden in color, clean look in the glass. Thoroughly enjoyable. Wish they had a branch down here.

Serving glass: Poured from tap into pint glass.
Appearance: Slightly cloudy light orangish-yellow with sustained thin head and some minor lacing.
Smell: Major notes of banana, citrus and spice.
Taste: Banana, citrus, dark fruit and sweet malt, which is quickly balanced (maybe overtaken) by a very spicy and almost metallic bitterness. For some reason, the bitterness just seems out of place and is a distraction.
Feel: Moderate carbonation (seems low for style), with a light, creamy body. Finished very dry.
Drinkability: Refreshing but surprisingly bitter (in a spicy way, not an American bitterness). Slightly more than I was expecting for a summer brew.

On-tap at the brewpub. Appeared a clear amber with a short white head. There's a nice spicy candy, Duvel-like aroma. The flavor and mouthfeel don't quite stack up. The beer feels too flat, not bright and sparkling, on my tongue. Still, there's a sweet, bready Belgian spice mixture in the flavor and this beer is fairly drinkable.

This Belgian pours a hazy yellow with a small but lasting head. The nose is pretty nondescript but some nice spices.
Extremely crisp taste with a bit of citrus up frontwhich completely gets washed clean by the hops. This is an amazingly balanced beer and quite light on its feet. I finished the growler before I even knew what happened. I wish I could have had more.

Sunrise Blonde Ale
Lightly hazed golden hue, slim head.
Aroma of spice, straw, citrus....enticing, if quiet.
Clean taste, refined, dry at the end, light, swift finish. Light bodied, easily quaffed, great summertime refresher. Simple, uncomplicated, classic.
I practically gulped the whole growler.
