Hazy deep golden. Thin dirty white head. Small amounts of lace are left behind. Great hoppy nose. Bright citric tones with some grassy notes and pungent resin as well. On the palate, I notice a nice toasted malt base and some caramel as well. But then the hops take over. Grassy, citric, bitter and fruity with nuances of tangerine, grapefruit and orange rind. Bitterness lingers nicely. Medium body. Good amount of CO2 as usual. If CA Amber means "hoppy" amber, this fits the bill. Good beer.
