Special Valentines Day brew served on-tap in a 10oz goblet - Firm chocolatey brown color with a slim compact head of smoothed over dark tan foam.
Aroma is a welcoming array of fresh tartish raspberry and milky chocolate, which gains more nosey power as it sits and heads towards the bottom of the glass. Seemingly becomes like a bunch of tootsie rolls melted into some fresh raspberries at that point.
Flavors are spot on terrific! A perfect delightful match of fresh tangy, snappy, crisp, tart, and juicy raspberry and an excellently balanced mellowing milky chocolate backing. Absolutley lovely! Very akin to Kuhnhenn's Rasp Eisbock if not a complete near mirror image for taste.
Body is a mellowing soft and tangy mediumness. At first when served chilled, its quite crisp and snappy, but as it warms it really comes into its own with one hell of a finely mellowing creamy milk tone thats quite nice and easy to drink. The balance is remarkably set between the raspberry bite and the tender smooth milk chocolate.
An absolute treat to behold. Gonna have to see if its still there for some growlers ASAP.
