An outstanding strong brown ale without going all hoppy or into porter territory. Poured from growler so not great looking as far as head and carbonation. Aroma is nutty and leathery with some cookie notes. Toasty and slightly sweet malt flavor with notes of wood and nuts. Mild bitterness. My Dexcom says this has a lot of unfermented sugars. Suitably carbonated despite the lackluster pour.

A beefed up brown ale with more weight in body, and flavor than a typical brown....but clearly not a porter....
Aroma of leather, and musty notes...
Flavor brings dark fruits (plums, raisins, blackberries) and bread crusts...
Body is fullish....not immense but full...not quite a sipper but carries some weight
This is nicely done and the kind of beers few do other than Town Hall.

Nitro/Co2 pour at the brewery.
Creamy khaki head. Clear copper color.
Very smooth and creamy. Reminds me of their chestnut brown, but better. Bready, toasted malts, caramel, spices, and some apple peel. Very flavorful and drinkable. A great English style ale.
