Dutch Enkel.
One of my favorites ever from Town Hall. Enjoyed it so much, I couldn't bring myself to sit down and examine it. Not at the pub, not at home. Just had two growlers, but each time, I opened it up and drank it down.
How often do you find this style? Not too. Enjoy it while you can. Wait, it's too late. So, I investigate the remnants of this, probably the last growler I'll be able to get.
Clouded, amber appearance, puffy white head.
Aroma is sour 'n; sweet...zesty and funk...citrus and yeast. Belgian-y goodness. Love it.
Tasting...smooth, round, and yummy, but bouyant flavor and body.
Wonderful drinkability, unstoppable flavor. Nice play on the palate, elegant finish.
Wish they'd do this again and again. Delicious.

A-Deep chill hazed golden

S-Very fragrant...floral...lilacs...fresh cut flowers...black pepper, nectarines...peaches..

T-Very Sasion like...black pepper, anise, nectarines

M-Medium...maybe light side of medium...crisp

D-Very flavorful lower abv beer along the lines of a a saison

Lemon/peach toned body. Chill hazed. Beads of lace left on the glass while I drink from a thin white head. The aroma is fruity and peachy. I like the belgian yeast aspects and also cracked black pepper phenols. The flavor starts with honeyed malts and progresses through dry leather, peaches, lemon pepper and earthy fruitiness. The body is light-medium and the beer is moderately carbonated. This is quite enjoyable and quite drinkable.

A nice Belgium single to start the day. Drank from a generic pint glass.

Appearance- Pours an almost neon yellowish with a beautifully fluffy bright white head. A small cap and collar remain with zero lacing.
Smell- Lots of yeasty esters with a soft banana and clove aspect. The grains of paradise ate duly noted as they give that sort of spicy/flowery nose. Slightly grainy as well with that raw malty thing going on. Nice subtle fruity nose overall.
Taste- Starts lightly sweet with a fruity kick from the start. A bit of bubblegum, banana, and plum work in along with a white pepper like spiciness. A bit of doughy malt for those grains of paradise and yeast flavors to rest on. Finishes lightly sweet with a lingering orange peel like fruitiness.
Mouthfeel- Medium feel with a nice light creaminess and extremely light carbonation.
Drinkability- Really dug this one. Not the hugest fan of the style but the more I try different ones, the More I dig em. The Grains of Paradise add a little something extra as well. Super drinkable and all around tasty stuff.
