Sweet Brown Ale with chestnuts. 6% abv with a toasty, sweet nut aroma, this English Brown Ale has toasted caramel and chocolate flavors and is aged on roasted chestnuts from Michigan.

Excellent beer for Christmas Eve. Nice chocolate, nutty flavor...sweetish. Milk chocolate rather than dark chocolate. Interesting it's aged on Chestnuts. Can't say I can distinguish what that adds but it must contribute to the nuttiness a bit.

On tap. Khaki head. Some lace. Caramel copper dark brown color.
A very nice English brown ale. Caramel, toasted nuts (likely the chestnuts), toasted malts, toffee, grassy hops. A touch of raisin and figs. Maybe some dried apple skins.
