Lovely, pure peach color, thick, tangible, with a standard, 1/4 " whitish head.
Aroma, sweetness itself, loaded with fruit and a hint of honey.
I put to my lips, and find that complexities abound in this glass. Flavor is rich and suggestive of candies and liqueurs. Medium bodied, with excellent, dazzling, yet delicate, texture. Peach flavor resounds and remains. Finish ends on a dry note, with an appropriate, crisp snap.
Each subsequent sip rewards and renews and re-invigorates the sipper...a flash of fruit, then a tart pucker, then we do it all over again, followed by a dry rounding out, that mellows and relieves.
A wonderful, happy little lambic.

This one was served to a golden-orange color with a off-white head that did not last. The aromas where of peaches, of course, with the herbal/medicinal qualities of a lambic, but not quite as much as other lambics. The flavor had the peaches in it, but not really the other qualities of a lambic. It had a sweet tartness in the flavor as well. It was pretty light in flavor and in body. Not a whole lot there. It was good and easy drinking, just not what I was hoping for. I wanted a bit more in the flavor, and it just wasn't delivering.

Autumn Brew Review 2002, Minneapolis, MN...how often do you get to try a Lambic at a small brew fest?
Cloudy dark tan, thin head. Definite fruitiness to the smell, fresh and a little pear-like. Nice medium body and peach flavors. Astringent and slighty vinous, but not "over the top" fruit tartness as in some Lambics. Fruit with tart seeds, skins, and stems fare far better as Lambic accompaniments. While not loving this style, this beer was subtle and drinkable, to me. And its a local product. This far exceeds American Fruit brews like Sam Cranberry Lambic, Pyramid Apricot and Leinenkugel's Berry by a long shot.
