This rye barrel was filled with our Grand Cru and aged. The whiskey was made with their normal grain bill and features more earth, spice, and leather one would expect from a Rye whiskey.

Crowler can. No dating information found but purchased from the 2023 Barrel Aged Week offerings.
Clear, deep amber colored body. Close to a champagne head, with rising bubbles maintaining a majority island.
Aroma is dark roasted malts, with plum, date, strawberry, and oak.
Taste is sour dark bread, rye spice, sweet plum and strawberry, and oak barrel. Gets to be a sweet mixture in the aftertaste.
Thicker mouth feel, nectar-like. Excellent carbonation.
A real elixir for sure.

On tap. Khaki head. Mahogany color.
Tons of things going on here. Spearmint, orange, vanilla, spice, caramel, plums. Fruity, herbal, malty. Lots of rye and barrel flavors. Leather and toffee. Warming, smooth.
As it warms, brown sugar and strawberry notes come out. Has a baked treats flavor. Wow, this is great.
