Pours a half finger of beige tan head. Great retention with awesome lace. Color is a dark copper brown nearing black.
Aroma: signature town hall cherry flavor. Cherry pie cherry to be exact. It has a big malt back bone. Chocolate and smoked malts with some peat. It all hints behind the big cherry flavor.
Taste: starts out with the same cherry flavor but then the malts fade in. Chocolate and caramel with a little smoked malts and peat. It blends so well.
Mouthfeel: tart and smooth. Medium bodied with a nice amount of carbonation. Ends a little dry but pretty clean.
Overall, this was a fantastic wee heavy. The cherries added a lot of flavor, but didn't take away from the style. Very drinkable. I didn't taste any of the alcohol at all.

Had this on 2011-11-17 at the Town Hall Tap for their 1-year anniversary celebration.
Notes: I talked to the server quite a bit about this brew because I enjoyed it so much. First you'll note the ABV is higher than their normal Wee Heavy. The menu gave the beer name "Cherry Infused Wee Heavy" but she also described it has having a blend of Belgian IPA along with the Wee Heavy.
A - Dark black with 1/2-finger tan head and great lacing. Beautiful.
S - Cherries! Nice and tart aroma with some mild, peaty malt.
T - Wow. Very complex. Belgian yeasty esters at first (nowhere as yeasty as a tripel) but you are then slapped with bold sweet and tart cherries and a healthy dollop of dark, peaty malt. Then you get some citrus and hop bitterness. The lingering aftertaste is of cherries and a nice touch of bitterness.
M - Medium-heavy body, medium carbonation, somehow effervescent and moderately creamy.
O - Great brew. Just delicious, rich and complex.
