Pours a light beige head. Color is murky amber caramel.
Aroma: tons of ginger, nutmeg and spice. Reminds me of ginger bread man cookies. Wheat and banana, but not a lot of bock flavors showing.
Taste: all the same spices show and this time it is more malty. Bready with caramel flavors. Wheat, bananas, cloves, and a mix of other spices.
Mouthfeel: crisp and dry. A higher amount of carbonation. Medium bodied. Ends dry.
Overall: this is a nice winter beer, but a lot of spice makes it hard to drink a lot of it. An interesting take on the style.
