Tastes as it sounds like it would taste, does not really grow on me though. Beer is on draft at the brewpub, beer is dark with a tan head of small bubbles.
Aroma is chocolate, not a lot of cherry in the nose.
Beer is sweet, mild banana, mild tartness, a lot of chocolate and as the beer falls away on the late palate there is a lot of cherry there. It is interesting and "good" if this is your thing but they basically ruined a dunkelweiss.

An infusion beer.
A - Poured an opaque, jet black color with a one finger, light brown head of foam. It left sudsy sheets of lace on the glass.
S - It smelled of sweet chocolate with ripe cherries. Not much of the wheat aromas.
T - It tasted like a chocolate covered cherry with a slight caramel flavor. A hit of wheat.
M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A medium bodied ale with a dry finish.
O - This was tasty. An interesting one off.
