White head with lace. Color is an amber copper.
Flavors are of juicy hops and more juicy hops. Earthy and floral. Grapefruit and pineapple. Very fruity. Juicy fruit flavors. Light malt presence.
Mouthfeel is bitter. Medium bodied with a good amount of carbonation.
Overall, this was an awesome ipa from town hall. Very drinkable and tasty. Glad I got to try this one.

Minneapolis Town Hall Super Sonic IPA
Clear and bright crimson colored, under a slimmed-down, off-white head.
Aroma: fruits and berries, low bitterness. minor sweetness. tropical fruits. pleasant.
Taste: Little blast of bitterness hits first, then engulfed by malt, a mix of bitter alpha acids and sweet malt washes over the palate, rounded out neatly and dryly. All manner of fruit associations climb into the sensory playground, berries and gourds galore, succulents and seeders, and all of them. A bountiful harvest in this. Medium bodied, mellow, with a persistent, underlying hoppy attack along the palate that keeps it all interesting.
Not quite like any other IPA you're likely to bump into.

Deep pumpkin orange body that produces a finger of vanilla white head which laces incredibly well.
Smells like nothing I can think of... banana cream, cereal malts, mango, pleasantly sweet and approachable. Mellower fruit notes like apricot, pear and cantaloupe. Very clean and expectedly balanced.
Hops are definitely more pronounced on the palate. Bitter citrus, sweet melon, mango, plenty of conifer to keep things interesting, caramel malts, earthy spice. Dynamic.
This is one of the more interesting IPAs I've had recently. Definitely give it a go if you're curious.

On tap at the brewpub. Served in a standard shaker glass.
Appearance: Color is a bright and clear copper golden orange. Moderate amount of bubbles and about one finger of white head that slowly fades into a thin patchy layer. Leaves a lot of lacing around the glass.
Smell: A very bright and crisp hop forward aroma with tons of tropical citrus. Big hints of citrus upfront with hints of orange peel, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, apricot, melon, peach, lemon, and kiwi. Also some floral and herbal hop hints along with hints of pine spice and grass. Soft bready hints of malts with hints of biscuit, wheat grains, cracker, and yeast. A very tropical and fruity smelling aroma.
Taste: Follows the smell with a big taste of tropical citrus hop fruit esters and earthy notes. Big taste of oranges, mango, grapefruit, pineapple, and melon as well as some notes of apricot, lemon, kiwi, and peach. The citrus is huge and juicy. Earthy hop notes with some pine spice, grass, and floral and herbal notes. Soft bready malts in the background with some notes of cracker, biscuit, wheat grains, caramel, and yeast. Very hop forward and good taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very crisp and juicy. Nice sharp drying bitterness. Goes down smooth.
Overall: Another great West Coast style IPA from Town Hall. Very big on the tropical esters and nicely crisp.
