Fresh Growler: Dense amber color. Very slim cap of off white quickly slips to nothing and very little lace in which to speak of.

Nice aroma of rounded and soft red malt breadyness and a scotch-like sweetness floating on top. Has nice little hints of chocolate and toasted malts as well with a bit cherry.

Flavors are a bit short lived and weak-ended with a simple delicate tone of malty sweetness that carries some fruityness of cherry, fig, and dark berries. Has a light backing of breadyness thrown in with a bit of nuttyness. Slightly sticky return in the finish with a malty wall of jelly filling kinda lingering along with a slightly toasted edge.

Feel is clean and quick, a bit shy, if not more so, of a medium body with a low carbonation and a mostly malty sense of application being rendered.

A simple and delicate beer thats OK to have one or two of. A bit on the boring side and probably one of least favorite/likeable beers to have been brewed at GW.

Good thing I still have some more of the 10th Anniversary Maibock!
