Served on tap, this pours a hazy orange-yellow hue, with a frothy white head that rapidly dissipates, but leaves some white lacing on the glass. The smell is sweet and malty, with hints of honey. The taste has a blast of honey(from dandelions), with some mild bready malt characteristics. I don't taste hops, although they're there, according to the brewer. Although this ale is sweet, it is not cloying or unpleasant. It is rich and tasty and eminently drinkable. For me a dash of dandelion honey helps the alcohol go down "in a most delightful way"! Nice job.
