Slightly hazed copper. Restrained and tight beige head. Lacing is sparse. Aroma is very sweet. Lots of candy like tones. Caramel candies. Peanut brittle. Butterscotch hard candies. Vanilla nougat. Good in a way, but a little over the top with these characteristics as well. A lot of the aroma traits translate over to the palate....caramel, nougat, toffee, buterscotch... And in a small way, it fits part of the profile for an alt. But in a bigger way, it's just too sweet. And it's missing any kind of a hop presence. As I drink more and more of this growler, it just gets harder and harder to drink because of the overriding sweet/butterscotch aspect.
