Clear, light amber color, substantial white head.
Amiable aroma, light, slightly hoppy.
Taste: sweetish, smooth, perfectly tasty, mild, but not without it's rewards. Slight fruitiness, little bitterness, a quite adequate ESB, an able take on the style. A medium body, crisp finish. Nice drinkability, a good session brew.
When you need a solid, if unchallenging brew at the pub, this one will do.

This is one of the nicer cask-conditioned ales they have regularly available year round. Color is light amber slightly hazy with a small bubbly head. Smell is very faint of hop and not much else. Taste is pretty good, very clean, smooth, & mild with a light hop presence and a light, sweet citrus note. Feel is light to medium bodied and a little empty, watery even. Has a small citrusy hop twinge on the tongue. The name "bitter" should me removed and replaced with "mild", cuz it ain't bitter in the least bit. Just very, very slightly bitter if that. Its a good drinkable beer, goes down easliy and is a good filler with a meal.

Cask conditioned...yellowish amber, slightly cloudy with a yeasty swirl. Pale and fine-bubbled head of about a 1/4 inch. Barest trace of a hop aroma. Very mild flavor, a trace of distinctly flowery hops, a touch of lemon, and a little cane sugar. Subtle and light, still satisying in the mouth. Its billed as the perfect lunch time beer for business people and that makes sense. Hits a nice and restrained note and fills a warm weather beer niche for me.
