On tap at the brewpub. Poured into a standard shaker pint glass.
Appearance: Pours a bright copper/golden orange with a moderate amount of bubbles and a solid two finger off white head with decent retention. Leaves lots of lacing on the glass.
Smell: Sweet bready pale malts with a good amount of caramel and biscuit. Some wheat grains and some light hints of earthy, grassy hops in the background. A pretty sweet malt forward aroma.
Taste: Similar to the aroma. A fairly sweet taste of pale malts and wheat grains with some good notes of caramel and biscuit. Light hints of grassy and earthy hops in the background to provide some balance. Definitely a bready malt forward ale.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with a moderate level of carbonation. Creamy, slick, and very smooth.
Overall: A pretty solid beer. One of the more malt forward pale ales I've had but it doesn't lack in taste.

On tap at the brewpub.
Clear amber copper with a short, tight, off white head. Good retention, lots of lacing on the glass.
Sweet aroma of bread, pale malt, caramel. Light earthy hops.
Taste is similar to the smell. A more sweet and malty flavor than I was expecting from a pale ale.
Some hop bitterness, herbal and leafy but quite light.
Light to medium body and mouth feel. Creamy and smooth.
Balanced but not the hoppy kick I was looking for.
