Served on tap(no cask version this time, too bad)into a pint glass, this has an attractive reddish hue with a foamy white head that lingers. The smell is very mild and gives just a whiff of hops. The taste is exponentially better than the smell. There is a forward taste of citrussy hops with a great malty balance. The hop flavor persists into the finish. The mouthfeel seems just right. This just might be their knock-off version of Surly Furious, although it's just a tad higher in alcohol and a tad lower in bitterness(95 IBU's). Either way, it's marvelous and easily drinkable. Get it while you can!
