Served in a pint a dark copper color with a thick creamy cask head of khaki. Leaves some nice sticky lacing.
The smell is a bit light. Some english malt with a touch of caramel and some light hopping. Again, overall, light.
A well balanced english ipa with as much malt coming through as hop bitterness which is a bit low. Really not getting the lemongrass at all. If the bartender didn't tell me, I would not have known. The hops are more piney than anything, but the malt subdues it too much.
Great feel thanks the the casking. Smooth and creamy the whole way. Medium body.
Just wasn't real impressed with this one with exception to the casking. Where's the lemongrass? A decent beer overall, but leaves one to desire more.
